Green Economics Training for European Activists – Berlin December ‘08

On December 2008, FYEG carried out in Berlin our first training in cooperation with the Senior Greens thanks to the Green European Foundation and the Green Economics Institute. 25 young and senior greens from 17 European countries from Armenia to Ireland received basic training in mainstream Economics and green Economics principles and concepts.

The most important part of the training was actually what happened afterwords, i.e. the cascading. All participants had to create a project to inform about what they had learned during the training to other young/senior Greens around Europe. As a result, FYEG has created this website, published a whole Ecosprinter dedicated to the issue and a magazine and has created a working group for campaigning. But it was not the only work done… Laura GarcĂa Tarrazo, participant from Spain recorded and edited a video and we will publish here the articles and interviews that Young Greens from all around Europe wrote after the Berlin event.
